The scene

The scene / (2015) installation / single-channel sound and video, plaster, textiles, thermoplastic, hand heater / 3 x 3 x 4 m / 6'

About / The audience is invited to physically enter, one-by-one, a cinematic space and become part of an illusion. The piece acts as a three-dimensional deconstruction of a filmic scene, in which a character in an empty club is waiting to make contact with the viewer. The installation considers the haptic experience of images.
