Transition - see through

Transition - see through (2019) installation / casted stone powder, lights, chroma key blue paint / 10 × 30 × 30 cm

About / A half-casted, half-sculpted hand lies outstretched. In the palm of the hand is a black hole, which, when observed closely, reveals a multitude of light sources, dotting the expanding darkness within. The surrounding walls, painted chroma key blue, allude to the mutability of the background and to the possibility of each viewer producing their own context for the piece.
